Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Department is funded by the user fees assessed at the Jefferson County Lake and Campground. Citizens of Jefferson County do not pay a tax levy to the Parks & Recreation Department. All proceeds go to improving and maintaining the lake as well as the Mike Walker boat ramp. We strive on keeping our rates low so that everyone can enjoy the lake.
