There are many service organizations in Jefferson County, and they are always looking for willing hands to fill needs within the community. There are also great ways to meet up with people who have common interests. Some organizations do not have an online presence, but make a difference in the community.

The Giving Cupboard Food Pantry
The mission of the Giving Cupboard is to establish programs in Jefferson County, such as a choice food pantry, to alleviate hunger and hardship, increase self-sufficiency, and instill hope for a better future.

The Twin Butte Bunch, Single Action Shooting Society
The Twin Buttes Bunch holds cowboy action shooting events every third Saturday of each month from April to September. Youth and adults alike can enjoy the challenge of single action shooting.

Unified Sportsmen's Club
Located just outside Jefferson County on Highway 33, the Unified Sportsmen's Club provides a safe and social way to enjoy shooting sports. The object of the organization is to teach safe handling and care of firearms, improve marksmanship, and develop the characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play and self-reliance.
